90@9 is a large group and small group youth ministry for students in grades 6-12 that meet on Sunday mornings at The Center, at 9:09am. 90 minutes to transform the other 10.080 minutes in the week!
Our purpose is to teach, lead, fellowship with, and disciple youth while at the same time empowering them to take the power of Christ that lives withing them to be lights in His world. Most of all we desire to glorify our great God!
Small Groups: Small groups are one of the most vital parts of 90@9’s ministry. Within small group time, students are challenged to discuss, share, and interact with Biblical material in a variety of ways. Through discussion, In-depth Bible study and book studies, our youth are encouraged to delve beyond the surface of Christianity and into a deeper knowledge of, and love relationship with, our Savior while at the same time being discipled by leaders who love and come along side them for their progress and joy in the faith.
Teaching: 90@9 uses the teaching gifts of our small group leaders to bring the Word of God with passion and love in teen relevant ways. Teaching usually consist of a 15 or 20 minute time period that reflects and compliments what is taught over at The Chapel.
Music: Many of our youth have musical talent and get our morning started with passionate praise music. Music is one of the many ways our teens are able to worship our great God as they sing praises unto His name.
Events: 90@9 encourages students to participate in events that are planned throughout the year such as Acquire The Fire, retreats, small group outings, and other monthly large group events such as volleyball, bon-fires, and game nights, service oppertunities and more! Weekly Bible studies are ongoing thoughout the year.
